There were huge pools of inactive accounts and there were customers who had not purchased anything from our client's business within the past 6 months to 2 years but still existed as a potential customer base. The traditional methods for reactivating these inactive accounts did not scale, including manual dialing that required sales resources and the odds of successfully reactivating these accounts were low.
